FREQUENCY:annually in spring semester
CONTENTS:In the first part of the course, the nature and physicochemical properties (reactivity, mobility, adsorption) of water and soil pollutants are presented. Techniques to assess the type and degree of a contamination as well as legal aspects are introduced. In the second part of the course, assessment, risk evaluation and remedial of actual pollution sites are presented.
