CONTENTS:Geochronology and Isotope Geochemistry of solid material The students know the essential geochronological methods used to determine cosmo- and geological events ranging in age from the beginning of our solar system to sub-recent times. They are familiar with recent methodological advances and limitations. They have the skills to rigorously evaluate data quality including uncertainties. They also know the key diagrams of geochronological data representation and are able to use them to judge the significance of geochronological data or identify possible sources of inaccuracies. The students are able to asses and discuss the results of published geochronological studies.
